CloudMatters is a managed cloud services business, committed to being a responsible company and taking a robust approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.

We take this commitment extremely seriously, and this statement constitutes its compliance, pursuant to section 54 (1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the Act).

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It can take various forms such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which include the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

CloudMatters has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery within its business and supply chains. This policy applies to all persons:

(a) working for CloudMatters, in any capacity, including employees at all levels and,

(b) working on our behalf as officers, agency workers, seconded workers, volunteers, interns, agents, contractors, external consultants, third-party representatives and business partners.

We expect the same high standards from our contractors, suppliers and other business partners, and as part of our standard contracting procedures, include specific statements against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children. We expect that our suppliers and partners will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.

The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains is the responsibility of all those working for us or under our control. Employees are required to avoid any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of this policy.

If employees are found to be in breach of this policy it could lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal for gross misconduct.

Employees must notify a Director as soon as possible if they believe or suspect that a conflict with this policy has occurred, or may occur in the future.
